Life for Carolina Panthers guard Austin Corbett has been difficult of late.

The Panthers placed Corbett on the injury reserve list due to a knee injury that turned out to be an MCL. Corbett recently returned from a torn ACL in the same knee that suffered an MCL injury. But in typical Corbett fashion, he took to Instagram to let everyone know the best is yet to come.

Well….Let’s try this again, but just the MCL this time," Corbett wrote on Instagram. "I know the people in my corner will continue to lift me up. I know my loving Heavenly Father has an eternal plan for me. I know the only way through is to Keep Pounding!"

The announcement of Corbett's season-ending injury came Wednesday from the team.

He sustained the injury in a Week 11 loss to the Dallas Cowboys.

Corbett first returned from the knee injury he sustained last season against the New Orleans Saints in Week 8 of the 2023 regular season.

That Week 8 matchup with the Houston Texans stands as the Panthers' lone win of the season thus far.

For long stretches, the Panthers hoped Corbett's return would sure up a leaky offensive line that has struggled to protect rookie quarterback Bryce Young for long stretches.

With Corbett injured again, it seems like the Panthers will continue to wait for trustworthy offensive line play.

As for Corbett, he has a long recovery ahead of him. It is safe to say the same is true for the Panthers.
