Two down.....Two to go!!
Well camp's out finally....thank God!! Lol. Hard to believe, but we're already halfway thru the preseason. Pretty soon we'll be suiting up on MNF against Denver. We really dropped the ball against the Titans last nite. Even though it's preseason you still want to win the game whenever you can. But in the meantime we'll continue to practice and work hard in these last two games. But most importantly we need to all come out healthy. Some teams are already suffering significant injuries. And we need to avoid that at all costs. But enough football talk. I don't want to bore ya'll half to death. I feel like I been out of the loop for a minute. Tell me what some of ya'll been doing the past month I been in hiding....LOL

umm just got Madden 09...getting used to the typical ALL Madden crap, like say if your a LB and every game shut down the runningback to Natrone Means stats (25 carries -2 yards) you would expect your CB to cover the WR in the passing game especially when they are T Newman and Champ Bailey but no no, that doesnt happen....They get beat continously against receivers like Malcolm Floyd and Arnaz Battle..I dont know why All MAdden dumbs down the computer in your defense, which honestly makes no sense..Then again I think i will get used to it, i always skip preseason though....but the game is fun on 360...as well just took my MCATS, so happy its done with, now i can max n relax all day...

Now to the D Hall situation. The bottom line in last nights game was that D-Hall got embarrassed by a rookie receiver. I did not even know who Eddie Royal was before this game. I do now. The bottom line is that Royal beat Hall like a rented mule. D Hall needs to stop blaming everyone else, keep his mouth shut and start making plays. The 2 personal fouls were personal fouls. They were not viscious hits but they were late hits and stupid plays by D.Hall. I saw with my eyes last year when the Falcons played the Bucs the same thing with D Hall. He did too much talking, got beat like a rented mule and made stupid late hits. This act is getting old and is getting unacceptable. I personally have a liking for and enjoy his outgoing personality and have enjoyed watching him play, but after what I saw last year with him in the Bucs- Falcons games and now last night , I am really getting sick of this type of play. The late hits really are getting unacceptable. I am sure the refs were told last night to watch out for these late hits by D Hall. Last year in the Bucs-Falcons game in December, it was not only a late hit but also a cheap shot. There is no place in the NFL for this garbage!!!! I know that if D Hall can keep his mouth shut and play the game THE RIGHT WAY things can turn around because we all know how much talent he has. Give me 5 minutes with D Hall and I am sure he will understand real quick. I am person who tells it like it is. NO SUGERCOATING!!!! I thought the coaches should have pulled him out of the game and sat his butt on the bench. That is what I would have done if I was the coach.
Stan, I know you have so much class to ever say anything about this situation. But I am sure, it was tearing you up inside with what was going on last night with D Hall. I know you would never blame anybody else or schemes. Stan, if you were in that same situation last night, I am sure you would have just gone back to the drawing board, blamed yourself, and worked harder to correct your mistakes for the next game. D Hall can learn a lot from you ,Stan, on how to conduct himself as a professional. I got a lot to say about first round picks in the NFL that are overhyped and overpaid with big egos and come out way too often with no passion and are just a plain bust. I am sick and tired of that. The system stinks!!!! Nice to see the second round to seventh round picks and free agents playing this game in the NFL the right way for the most part. Eddie Royal proved that last night. Good going Eddie. Hopefully, he will continue to do things the right way in this league. I know that you will continue to do things the right way in this league, Stan !!!! LOL
