Long Time!!

Well I hope everyone's winter season is going blessed and peaceful. Of course our season isn't quite going the way we all planned it to. But we still have three games left and we plan to finish strong as ever. Through it all I would love to thank all our fans for standing behind us throughout this "eventful" year. It is greatly appreciated and definitely hasn't gone unnoticed. Cause please believe we don't intend to let you down anymore Raider Nation. God bless. If i don't make another post before Xmas I hope you all have a safe and sound holiday season. Much love!!

P.S. Sorry for the long silence. Sometimes all the struggles and stress gets too much to bear.

I wanted to let you know that I will be at the Bucs game. That will be a nice after Xmas gift and event to see you play in person, Stan. Oh yes, I will be cheering for the Bucs. Sorry, Stan. But it would sure be cool for you to get a pick in the game and have the Bucs win the game. I will be sitting in the South endzone with my Penn State shirt on so look for me during your pregame warmups because you and your teammates will be warming up in the South endzone. Hopefully, I will be feeling well enough to go. December has not been good to me so far. However, November was good to me and I had a wonderful time with my parents down here in Lakeland visiting family and friends, and up in the Pittsburgh area as well with my parents, grandparents and other family members and friends for Thanksgiving. The physical and emotional roller coaster ride continues with me from my neurological dystonia condition and I never know what I am going to feel like from day to day. As you know , I certainly know how the struggles and stress of my dystonia condition can be too much to bear and how people who do not have this dystonia condition have know idea what I go through. Nobody would believe how bad I feel and look on my bad days. I feel and look like something out of a horror movie. I have been on the dystonia board posting comments there because that helps so much and I do my best to support other people with dystonia who are going through tough times. Some of the stories with other people with dystonia on that board are so sad and really get me emotional. I comment to them to let them know that I care, I support them, love them, pray for them, and that there is always hope!!!! Stan, you remember that when you go through the burdens,struggles, and stress that you have in your profession there in "eventful Raiderland" and life that are too much to bear that none of us can never understand or know what you go through, please remember that I will always be by your side and many others will be also, and that there is always hope!!!! I need this interaction to keep me going because you know I do not go out very much except for what I call special events. Seeing you play in person in a few weeks will be a special event for me. Thanks for always praying for me and pulling for me through my dystonia condition. My thoughts and prayers will always be with you and much love to you my friend. Take care and God Bless.

Just letting you know that it was great seeing you in person getting the playing time you deserve and congrats on that win in Tampa. I had several bad days since that game with my health and in extreme pain from kidney stones again. I saw you praying in the endzone before the game and dancing to the music during tv timeouts. Please say a prayer for me because I really need it after the way things have been going for me since that game. Hey Stan, Do you think that this Arizona- Pittsburgh Super Bowl showdown will be an interesting matchup? I have to say that I have become a Fabian Washington fan after that game. He played pretty well overall, and I say thanks to him because the Holmes TD where Ben was just trying to throw the ball way was played well by Fabian, but his slip on the turf made it posssible for Holmes to take it to the house. The Steelers got a lot of luck last night much of which they created by that amazing Steeler defense and Ben buying time on the run out of the pocket. Flacco will learn from his rookie mistakes like Ben did several years ago and be much better for it in the years to come in his football quarterback days ahead. Congrats to the Ravens for a tough game and thank God everybody was okay in that head on collision at the end of the game. It was really scary seeing Willis laid out like that on the grass. Have you ever been involved in a hit like that on another player during anytime in your foootball days of your life?
I've got a feeling that Pittsburgh is going to the Super Bowl 34 miles to my West at the Ray-Jay vs the Cards. Hopefully this will be the third AFC victory in a row at Raymond James Stadium. San Diego Chargers and then some team called the Raiders that you might have heard of in the Silver and Black and I will let Shanelle626 comment about the pants and jerseys. And the amazing Black and Gold of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Wave those terrible towels baby and HERE WE GO STEELERS. HERE WE GO!!!!

Hey Stan, did you here the news that the Pittsburgh Steelers won the Super Bowl? It was just news on the front page of local newspapers all over the world and some highlights on some NFL Network Channel that 5 people get on their cable outlets. Oh yeah, some 4 letter network called ESPN had coverage, too, and it was televised by some network called NBC and worldwide tv stations. Only 151 million people watched the Super Bowl. So, not many people cared to watch the Super bowl. There are a billion people in China, so I guess many people really were not watching. I knew these 151 million people could not miss the commercials or the halftime show. I guess I was 1 of the 151 milion people that was actually interested in watching the game.
I did not see you in Tampa where I was at on Friday and Saturday evening. Of course, this peon was not invited to any of the VIP parties. Hey Stan, I guess my invitation got lossed behind all those throw pillows, or it got lossed in the mail, or maybe the dog ate it. What kind of bufoonery is this? Maybe you were at a throw pillow party. Watch out! That throw pillow is a dousy and you might have got hit by one of those throw pillows and had a concussion and not remembered who won the Super Bowl.... LOL. So, I thought I would remind you that it was the Pittsburgh Steelers. You know the team in black and gold, well the white and gold for this game, that now has 6 Super Bowl titles.

Oh yeah, I know who I can cut from the present Steeler roster to get you on board with the Steelers. This young talented 2nd year defensive player Steeler individual was a big jerk to me on Friday evening at the event that I was at. I am NOT joking about this situation that happened to me. He treated me like a piece of garbage and a nobody. This Steeler player should be cleaning toilets because his attitude stinks, and he needs to get his attitude into gear. This really did happen to me last Friday evening. I am going to contact the Steeler organization about this Steeler player. I do not want to mention this Steeler player name until I here back from the Pittsburgh Steeler organization about this unfortunate situation and get an apology from this Steeler player. I did say hi to your Raider teammate, D-Mac, and he said hi back to me. He seemed to be nice and cool to everyone including me.

So, where did you really watch the Super Bowl at and are you doing anything exciting in the upcoming weeks?

    I am just having some fun here too, and joke around with you all about hotel things like the AAA that approves hotels and motels with a number of stars rating system, and leave the light on referred to the Motel 6 for my comments. My first name is Eric, and I have been calling myself Coach E and ending my comments with that is the bottom line because me (Eric) and Coach E (Eric) said so, to friends over the past month. On a very serious note, I have had some bad health problems to deal with last week and I just need to joke around and laugh as much as possible right now. Laughing is the best medicine. Hey Stan, since we are on the genius theme here, I was wondering what your opinion was about the Wonderlic Test at the NFL combine. I just do not see any real purpose to this kind of test for future NFL players. Did you like or hate taking this Wonderlic Test back during your NFL combine days?

  I didn't have a problem with it really. It's just a way for NFL teams to see where you are on a psychological and intelligence level. I think we all can agree some players in this league you really need the test where they are in those areas.....but it's all good though. You want the job....gotta go through the required screening process!!

I absolutely agree that some players in this league need to be tested for their psycholgical and intelligence levels based on some of the on and off field problems some players have had in college and the NFL. So, if this test can really help teams draft good character players then I am all for it. Like I always say, doing things the right way on and off the field means everything to me. Stan, you do all the right things on and off the field and that does mean so much to me. All 32 NFL teams should be looking for players like you, Stan, to represent their organization in a positive way. Whatever team you sign with during your free agent process is really fortunate to have such an intelligent, talented, professional football player that does everything the right way on and off the field!!!!

    You mentioned seeing Tyler Perry films both times you were on Behind the Shield (Jeanette gave you a hard time about them being "cheater movies"). You also have a TP film listed in your profile up top. Safe assumption, I guess.

Hey Stan, did you here about this new United Football League that is starting in October? Former recent NFL coaches have been hired and they are looking to employ former NFL players. It is to be in 6 cities including Orlando, New York, Hartford, Las Vegas, San Francisco, and LA. I hope they are financially sound. I would hate to see another one of these leagues come and go so fast. I just do not understand why they are doing it during the same time period as the NFL. I would think they would want to do it during April and May of 2010 instead of during October and November of 2009. Do you think that this league has any chance to make it or is it going to be another bust outdoor football league?

FYI (because I now know you dont hear about these kind of things in the south ;) the Ed Block Courage award dinner for your (now former) teammate Jake Grove is on 4/27 at the Hilton.

So I heard you were a fan of Cougars. Which I thought was odd at first but hey, to each their own, right? Then I realized the mascot at Houston is a cougar. Oops, looks like I totally misunderstood that one! Now what am I going to do with all these pre-menopausal women I rounded up?!
